Insecure Writer's Support Group

April is here! That means it's already time for yet another installment of the Insecure Writer's Support Group! You can visit the site and join us at the previous link. Also be sure to visit Alex J. Cavanaugh, our founder, and co-hosts to show them some love!

I've already said how I'm doing last week, so here is a little something from the support group heads:

The IWSG’s focus is on our writers. Each month, from all over the globe, we are a united group sharing our insecurities, our troubles, and our pain. So, in this time when our world is in crisis with the covid-19 pandemic, our optional question this month is: how are things in your world?

I want to hear from you! Stay safe out there.

Still going to work! No gym - they are all closed. But lots of walking.

I hope you doing well. I'm doing fine, still working and writing from my home office. My family is doing great.

Working from home less efficiently than I work from the office, but happy to be here. Looking forward to some better weather so I can get out for a walk.

I took a walk yesterday. It was chilly, but the fresh air made it worthwhile.

It's sunny and warm today in PA. Usually I find yard work to be a chore. Today, I can't wait to get out there.
The smaller things suddenly matter. Stay well!

Hanging in! I'm trying to focus on being grateful and positive.

I've definitely been more appreciative through this.

Thoughts about others suffering brings me down, I feel pretty helpless. :-\

Just take care of yourself right now.

Things are quiet here in Bucerias, Nayarit. The virus is slowly creeping towards us. But I feel confident that people will come to their senses and stay home. We are. I'm making chicken soup today. The house is filled with the tantalizing aroma of spices and roasted chicken. Life is good. Take care, Debra.

I appreciate the time I used to spend with my grandkids. FaceTime is great but not enough. Stay safe.

You, too!

I work from home on a regular basis, so no big adjustment there. My daughter is home finishing her college semester online. My son works at an "essential store" which is scary for me. I worry when I have to go to the grocery store if the virus is floating around in the air or on the products, but I do the best I can to keep safe and hope and pray we can all stay healthy. Stay well.
